READY, STEADY AND GO!!!

Honorable Presidents, esteemed delegates and distinguished guests!!! The enormous event known as BELAMUN HIGH-SCHOOL CONFERENCE 2011 has already started!!! In 3 days one more page of Belamun history will be written. But don't cook a hare before catching him) Let's start from the beginning.

Today the great brains from Belarus, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine (suppose we didn't forget anybody) have gathered together to create better future. The task isn't as simple as it seems, isn't it? But before solving global problems and proposing possible solutions our delegates were to answer a couple of unserious questions without using a resolution and policy statements.

First of all we proposed participants to travel through time with the help of a time machine. Don't be too hopeful - a time machine hasn't been invented yet) Nevertheless using their endless imagination the youth of 2011 could occur in different possible and impossible time frames. According to our Sunday's questionnaire the award for the most popular epoch has gone to The Middle Ages. Young ladies of the 21st century are still waiting for knights in shining armours, want their wardrobe be full of puffy dresses. A crown with precious stones and a title of nobility will come in handy. The present time, to be precised the 21st century, has been close to the first place. Delegates believe in destiny and are sure that if they were born at this very place and at this very moment, the time needs them. So they enjoy every minute of life and don't care about time machine. Among the participants we have found real superheroes who are brave enough to return to the past and save poor dinosaurs from death. The only thing to do is to find out the reason of the dying out.

Tne next question has proved a well-known truth - the good always wins the evil. And it isn't just a fairy tale for naive children. The majority of delegates have appeared to be so goody-goody. Choosing between  the fate of an evil genious and a good one, they have given voices to the good. Nevertheless among the participants are a few guys willing to play tricks on others. So watch out! But it will be wiser not to break rules of Belamun if you don't want to be punished)

The laughter prolongs our life, but it's high time to return to our muttons and discuss serious things. Tomorrow a big deal is waiting for delegates and chairs. So READY, STEADY AND GO!!!
